During an interview with Porter magazine, Gisele Bundchen got candid about her former relationship with none other than Leonardo DiCaprio and the things she revealed were quite shocking! Here’s what she had to say!

As you may know, the supermodel and the actor dated in the early 2000s but only now did she reveal what caused them to put an end to their romance.

‘No longer numbing myself with smoking, drinking, and way too much work, I was becoming more and more aware of things that I had chosen not to look at. Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul searching while he stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes,’ Gisele shared with the publication.

The two celebs were together for no less than five years and the model did touch upon their past together a bit in her autobiography titled Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life that she released last year.

Now, the supermodel is in a happy marriage with NFL superstar Tom Brady so it sounds like all of that numbness and heartbreak she experienced at the time, eventually led to her finding her other half.

They made it official in 2007, and two years later, they also tied the knot. Aside from opening up about her relationship with Leo, the woman also got candid about her own struggle with anxiety. ‘When I was going through my panic attacks, I didn’t even feel like I could share with anyone. I thought maybe I do not have the right, everybody is going through so many difficult things in the world, and I don’t have the right to feel this way. So I’d suppress it, and the more I suppressed it, the bigger it became,’ Gisele explained.

However, a lot of stars have been opening up about their own experiences with anxiety lately in order to bring awareness to it and the model is doing the same now.
