Fans have been waiting for these two to tie the knot for a while now and Ellen DeGeneres only wanted to give them a straight answer when she brought up the topic when Jennifer Lopez stopped by her talk show. In fact, Ellen told the beautiful star that her man, Alex Rodriguez had texted her about his plans to pop the big question.

It is safe to say that Jennifer’s reaction was priceless!

When the host told Lopez about her partner’s plans to propose to her, she, of course, did not believe her but did get pretty giddy at the idea. To get her to talk, Ellen hilariously insisted that he had texted her about it earlier that very day and asked Jennifer for a confirmation that they are indeed getting married. Lopez played coy, saying she did not know but didn’t deny it either. DeGeneres continued to claim that she knows Alex’s plans and encouraged the two to get married, telling the star they look really happy together, which Jennifer confirmed.

‘We are! We have been together a couple of years. It is really nice.’ Ellen suggested it would be great if they tied the knot on Christmas since it is such a romantic time. She also claimed to know that Rodriguez is planning to gift her something ‘thoughtful but inexpensive’ for Christmas. J.Lo. laughed, saying: ‘Did he say inexpensive? That is not gonna work… Come on. We do not work overtime for all that… Smart and thoughtful I will take. Romantic I will take.’

As for what she is planning to get him, Jennifer admitted that she had not figured it out yet, revealing that she is waiting for December 1 to start thinking about Christmas presents.
