Meet African comedian who is worth N10 billion, named world’s 4th highest paid by Forbes

Ace comedian, Trevor Noah, is slaying hard. If anyone ever says one can’t make it big in Africa, slap them with Trevor Noah. The South African-born funny man took his career overseas just a few years back and he has "blown". Trevor sells out entire auditoriums and theatres all over the world. Legit.ng learnt that Trevor was just named the fourth highest paid comedian in the world by Forbes. Trevor made an estimated whopping N10 billion in 2018.

The money was not raked in for free though, Trevor works super-hard. In just one year, Trevor made over 70 stops worldwide, produced and filmed his second Netflix special, Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia, and still managed his talk show, The Daily Show. Here are some reactions below: All the hustle and bustle has gotten to Trevor though. The comedian has been put on forced vocal rest and is taking some time off to recover and is currently in Singapore with Sizwe Dhlomo and a few other mates.

Meanwhile, Kevin Hart, the popular American stand-up comedian, emerged the comedian with the highest revenue at $59 million, among the top 10 high earners in the industry. According to Forbes, the income calculation was done between Friday, June 1, 2018 and Saturday, June 1, 2019. It should be noted the new ranking came after an earlier challenge Hart faced when he had to step down as the host of the last winter’s Academy Award.
